85. Lemon Meringue Cake at Ice Box Cafe

The sign in the window proclaims that Oprah deems these cakes the fairest in the land. Walk inside and choose the lemon meringue cake from the selection in the cooler. It's moist and delicious without that too-sugary taste of many cakes. There's a light touch at Ice Box Cafe that makes even the richest pastry seem downright fluffy. The tart lemon filling tastes fresh and tangy, and the marshmallow meringue is sweet without being overpowering. This is cake for grownups - light and fruity, creamy and tangy. At $6, it's a rich indulgence that everyone can afford.
