There's something about a grilled cheese sandwich that brings us back to the carefree days of childhood. One bite and we're transported to the kitchens of our youth and an after-school snack made by the hands of a loving guardian. The only problem is that for the most part, we've outgrown processed cheese melted between squishy white bread. So you can't go home. But maybe you can go better.
Enter the "bacon and blue" ($7) from sexy food truck Ms. Cheezious. A very grown-up blend of blue cheese, green onion, and applewood-smoked bacon is grilled between two thick slices of freshly baked sourdough. This sandwich is tangy, rich, and inviting. And the best part: There's no algebra homework waiting when you're done eating.
