45. The Rio Acai Bowl at Apple A Day

A common and beloved breakfast food in Brazil, the Rio açaí bowl has taken hold at a few Miami establishments. But no one does it like Apple a Day Natural Food Market in Miami Beach. The ever-smiling staff keeps the glass bowls chilling in the freezer until you order one of these superfood sensations. Then they gather massive amounts of raw, organic frozen açaí pulp, freshly peeled banana, and organic apple juice (they put whole apples through a juicer for each Rio bowl so your juice is as fresh as it gets). The ingredients are all placed in a Vitamix, where they slowly churn to a succulent frozen-pudding-like consistency. It's served with fresh banana slices and granola.

The whole thing costs $10, which is cheap considering it would cost you about as much to make it at home. (Plus you'd have to have a Vitamix. We've tried making them with a regular blender; it doesn't work.) Add Sun Warrior sprouted brown rice protein for an extra dollar.
