Miami Hurricanes @ Virginia Tech Hokies, Saturday 3:30pm on ABC

So after every hater and their mother predicted the Hurricanes would go winless in their ruthless opening schedule, here they are 2-0 and #9 in the nation (and unlike some other teams in the top ten, have fought hard for that ranking).

In their first two games they've already answered the questions "Are they going to be as hopeless as everyone thought?" (no) and "Are they on their way back?" (yes, most likely), and now the entire nation is asking "But, are they really back? I mean, like for real? You know, 'back' enough to win an ACC championship?"

To answer that question they'll head to Blacksburg this Saturday to take on #11 Virginia Tech in the only match up of two ranked teams this weekend. It's like they're the greatest America folk hero of the 21st century: Britney Spear. All eyes on me, center of the ring, just like a circus, and what not. Let's just hope the much hyped return to the spotlight pans out better.

The Hokies have had a shaky season, only showing dominance against Marshall (who?) after losing to Alabama, and pulling out a squeaker against Nebraska.

Miami is ranked two spots higher for a reason: they've played better, and on paper they look to be a better football team, but VT are fierce defenders of the home field, have a much stronger special teams squad, and a good looking D that might give Jacory Harris some problems. That being said, Miami comes into the game as the favorites. Most predictors envision a close game that should be worth a watch.
