Though it's been the worst kept secret in sports for a few weeks now, the Miami Dolphins officially unveiled their new logo today. The public intellectual trust that makes up Twitter users have basically fallen into two camps: that it looks like a sign for an aquarium or, oddly, that it appears to enjoy the romantic company of logos of the same sex.

Forget the rumors that an active NFL player is considering coming out of the closet, because apparently a certain segment of homophobic football fans are not ready for an openly gay logo.

Of course what these geniuses don't seem to realize is that the only reason the Dolphins needed a new logo is so the old one could retire to Vermont to finally marry its longtime partner, the old Tampa Bay Bucs logo. We wish them all the best.
