South Beach's biggest adult novelty store, the Pleasure Emporium, caught fire early this morning. Though no one was harmed, the building did sustain smoke and water damage, and the store is temporarily close. With Art Basel just around the corner, the art world's party set might need to find an alternative place to buy their lube and poppers.

"We're sorry for the inconvenience," wrote the store on its Facebook page. "Pleasure Emporium will be temporary closed due to a minor fire. We will let everyone know when we will re-open and ready foe business. Thank you!"

The Miami Herald reports that firefighters received a call at 6:23 a.m. this morning. It appears that an electrical problem caused a spark to catch fire between the building's dropped ceiling and true ceiling.

Unfortunately this means that the store's Black Friday sale (20% off most the store) is in question. What am I supposed to buy my family for Christmas now?
