This thing definitely looks like it belongs in some superhero or dystopian sci-fi movie. We just can't tell if it's the secret headquarters of the good guys or bad guys.

Fairholme Fund, an investment fund worth $17 billion and run by Bruce Berkowitz, is moving into Edgewater, further signaling the neighborhood's gentrification, and it's bringing this interesting building with them.

According to exMiami, the inverted pyramid-like building, located at 2626 Biscayne Blvd., will include a museum on the ground floors. The Fairholme offices will be up above. And while you may notice there's not much in the way of windows, don't worry. The plan calls for sunlight to enter the building from above.

Parking will be underground.

And, yes, that snake-like metal sculpture is set to be designed by none other than Richard Serra.

Arquitectonica is handling the architecture for the building.
