People who knew face-eating Rudy Eugene before he became the "Miami Zombie" have been telling news outlets-- including this one-- that he was a good kid who must have been made insane by a drug binge.

But Eugene previously had at least one extremely violent episode, when he was 22 years old. Riptide is the first to obtain the North Miami Beach police report concerning his 2004 battery arrest, and with it details of him smashing up his mother's house, attacking her and threatening her and the police officers who eventually Tased him.

Update: Eugene was also arrested back in 2008 on South Beach after police discovered dozens of baggies filled with marijuana hidden in his "groin area."

In February 2004, police officers reported to Eugene's family home on Northeast 176th Street in North Miami Beach. They found his father, whose first name is Melimon, standing outside the house, afraid to get in between his son and wife.

Cops heard Eugene screaming at his mother: "You see what I can do!" and "How do you feel now!"

When the officers entered the home, Eugene balled his hands into a fist and demanded: "What are you gonna do? What? You gonna shock me?"

He threatened the officer, according to the police report, saying: "I'll kick your ass." That's when Eugene earned the dubious distinction of being the first perp ever Tased in North Miami Beach.

Afterward, Eugene's mother Ruth told officers that he had said: "I'll put a gun to your head and kill you."

In Eugene's rampage against his mother, he had broken a table and smashed items around the house, and pushed her out of the kitchen.

Eugene was charged with battery on his mother, but the charges weren't prosecuted. He served probation for resisting an officer without violence.

His family no longer lives at the house, and his mother and father could not be located at their current addresses.

Ruth told police after they Tased her son: "Thank God you're here. He would have killed me."

Update:  Eugene was also arrested on December 5th, 2008 in South Beach. Officers spotted a 1997 Mercury Sable with illegally tinted windows and pulled the car over near 14th Street and Collins Avenue. Eugene was riding in the passenger's seat. Police then detected a stench of marijuana in the car and conducted a search. The uncovered 39 plastic baggies of marijuana that Eugene had hidden in his "groin area." Initially he tried to run away, but after a police officer grabbed him by his shirt Eugene stopped resisting. The felony charges, however, were never prosecuted. Also at the time Eugene told the court he had a weekly income of $260.
