The Real Housewives of D.C. and Miami are the only two entrants in Bravo's Housewives franchise that have been canceled, yet somehow one of Miami's representatives in Washington has snagged herself a cameo on one of the shows. This Sunday, Rep. Frederica Wilson, a Miami Gardens Democrat, will hold court with The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

The episodes will follow the cast as they get political and visit the U.S. Capitol. Incidentally, Bravo is launching The Real Housewives of Potomac, set in an affluent D.C. suburb, when the episode airs Sunday, so there's some synergy going on there.

Wilson and the cast will discuss the congresswoman's program, 5000 Role Models for Excellence, which aims to keep young African-American boys in high school and groom them for success.

"People really do not like African-American boys," Wilson says in the promo while wearing one of her trademark hats.

WIlson's appearance on the episode will certainly be overshadowed by the guest return of former castmate NeNe Leakes, but her office tells the Miami Herald that they hope the appearance will bring attention to the former school principal and school board member's efforts to mentor young boys.

Wilson has served in Congress since 2011. Her heavily Democratic district means she's safe from Republican competition, but this year she may face her toughest primary competition yet. Randall Hill, formerly known as Randy "Thrill" Hill during his days as a standout with the University of Miami Hurricanes football program in the '80s, has announced he'll run against the be-hatted congresswoman.

Sadly, we don't think Wilson used her relationship with Bravo to lobby for a return of The Real Housewives of Miami.
