Miami-Dade Police started investigating a break-in and robbery last night at a home in Kendall, but it turns out the home the burglars were targeting was actually a grow house. Police found 21 marijuana plants valued at around $50,000 inside.

The incident happened at a home Southwest 171st Street and 137th Avenue last night at about 11 p.m.

Javier Chill Lovio and Pedro Cabrera Gonzalez, both 36, are now both in custody. One subject was captured after taking police on a chase that ended up with him in the lake, according to WSVN. They've both been charged with burglary of an unoccupied residence and criminal mischief. Neither have been charged with anything related to the suspected grow house.

Police are still investigating the home, and have so far not released who owns the home. However police say additional charges are coming.

"This is a quiet neighborhood, I been here 11 years," neighbor Jesus Perez told the station.
