The Miami Dolphins have put their fans in a weird spot. On one hand this really will go down as one of the best seasons for the Fins in recent history. Not that that's saying much. On the other, if they don't make the playoffs it will seem all for not. Maybe those expectations are a bit too high. Yeah the Jets have been playing like crap recently, but Miami has been pulling out narrow victories on overall crappy teams.
It doesn't help matters much that post-season tickets are already on pre-sale. Being able to say "I just bought Dolphins playoff tickets," might feel unnaturally amazing, but it's only going to make things that more disappointing should we manage to not crash the Jets.
We're guessing this is just NFL protocol, but excuse us for not being overly familiar with post-season practices.
