Only 1.4 million specialty plates were sold in Florida last year. That's down from 1.6 million in 2009, according to the Tampa Tribune. Those numbers include reissued tags as well as new tags.

Sales of the "In God We Trust" plate rose by 813 to 6,083 in 2010.

The Miami Heat's unholy trinity, though, beat out the actual Holy Trinity. Sales of the Heat plate rose by 726 to 21,600 total plates. It's now the 19th most popular specialty tag in Florida.

In case you're wondering, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still have the most popular pro-sports plate in the state, and it's 11th overall. The Dolphins have the 24th most popular tag. Meanwhile, the tags for the Marlins and Panthers are ranked at 73rd and 76th.

The University of Florida version remains the most popular tag in the state. FSU is third, while University of Miami is 14th (beating out many schools with much larger alumni bases).
