We always thought Dwyane Wade's latest signature shoe, the Wade 4 by Converse, is kind of ugly. So we can't really blame him for never wearing them on court, but that's a bit controversial.
When basketball players sign these ridiculously lucrative sneaker deals, they are expected to actually wear the sneaker that bears their name, but Wade hasn't worn the new Wade 4 this season and apparently doesn't expect to. He prefers his original signature shoe by Converse, the Wade 1.
According to CNBC, sales of Wade shoes are down about 50 percent from last year, and the company is rumored to be re-releasing the Wade 1 next month. Wade's people say he didn't have time to properly get used to the new model, but c'mon, we really know it's because these things are kinda fug.
