Maybe because Nicki Minaj had one hell of a 2010 she didn't want the year to end. Or maybe she was just having a wardrobe malfunction. Whatever the reason, Mansion, the club where Minaj was hosting her all-pink New Year's Eve party had to turn back time in order for the rapper to countdown to the New Year.

According to TMZ, revelers at Mansion actually celebrated the countdown at 12:06 a.m because Minaj was running late.

"We're told the super-slick DJ preempted the disaster by setting the countdown clock back 6 minutes," reports TMZ. "Giving Nicki just enough time to get settled and bid an official farewell to 2k10 like a motherflippin' monster."

You know, we love Nicki, but all that celebrities have to do to get their healthy paychecks for hosting NYE parties on the beach is count backwards from ten at a certain time. It's really not that hard.

As if that wasn't enough, according to The Daily Telegraph, Minaj's dress split while on stage during the countdown.

The petite rapper ushered in 2011 "holding her dress together with one hand, with a glass of Belvedere in the other," said a witness.

Curvy Minaj didn't let the wardrobe malfunction stop her from performing her song "Moment 4 Life," but did pause to summon her stylist up onstage.

She continued singing for 2,000 partygoers while her stylist snuck behind her and stitched up her oufit.

Apparently, things at least ended well for Minaj that night. According to Life & Style:
"Right after the clock struck midnight, Drake left his party at the W South Beach and dashed over to Nicki's Moët & Chandon-sponsored bash at Mansion," a spy tells us. The singers, who have collaborated on songs before, "were dancing and cuddling all night." The duo partied until 4 a.m. and then were spotted leaving together."
So, she is dating Wheelchair Jimmy, who probably texted her, "I'm at the W but I can't meet you in the lobby. Girl, I gotta watch my back 'cause I'm not just anybody."
