LeBron James cordially invites you to a huge helping of his clutch gene, located on his gigantic clutch manliness. Staring down the barrel of a heartbreaking game one overtime loss, LeBron James drove to the hole with 2.2 seconds left and hit the game-winning layup to propel your Miami Heat to a 103-102 victory. All of the crazy.
LeBron messed around and had a triple double, going for 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists -- sexy. Even while battling foul trouble all game long (he finished with five fouls), LeBron was able to will the Heat to an emotional win. Speaking of emotion, Chris "Birdman" Andersen was a human Four-Loko Wednesday night, except someone poured out half of the Four-Loko and refilled it with freaking fuck yeahs. Birdman (Birdman!) cawww-cawwww'd his way to a perfect 7-7 from the field for 16 points and 5 rebounds in just 18 minutes of crucial play.
It looked as if the game wouldn't need an extra five minutes as the Heat led 91-89 with Ray Allen stepping to the line with under 20 seconds to play in regulation. He missed one of two however, leaving the door open. The Pacers Paul George, who finished with 27 points, rose up with just under three seconds to play and drilled a deep three to send the game into extra time. The shot was a major punch to the junk at the time, and you couldn't help but think the Heat might be on their way to one of the harder defeats they have experienced in a long time.
Dwyane Wade had his moments in game one, finishing with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists on 9-15 shooting. Christopher "Boshy Q. Bear" Bosh had 17 of his own, but pulled down just two rebounds more than you. One of those rebounds however was a critical three-point play late that tied the game and put the Heat in position to pull off the miraculous finish. While you may rightfully expect more from Bosh and Wade, you have to admire the two fornicating when it matters most. No matter what happens for the first 47 minutes you can always count on them to be confident late in the game, both are capable threats the other team has to respect, which opens the door for so much MVP kickassery.

Indiana has to wonder whether to be encouraged or worried. On one hand, you took Miami to overtime and lost by just one point. On the other, our White Hot Heat looked off the entire game and still won, just like a 30 point win for the series result
It will be hard to top the game one instant classic, but the two teams will give it a shot on Friday as the series continues right back on Miami's home court. The Heat has made a habit of feeling out an opponent in the first game, sometimes even losing it, then following the feeling out process with a roundhouse to the opponents junk sack.
As much fun as that was, here's hoping the next game is a Heat blowout and we can all give our clenched asses a rest until the series heads to Indiana.
