Kelly Craig has been on your TV set bringing you news for NBC6 (WTVJ) for nearly two decades, but reportedly she's been unceremoniously canned by the troubled station. SFLTV also reports WTVJ let go reporter Joe Carter and its only female sports anchor, Andrea Brody. Their bios have been removed from the station's website. Craig issued a statement to SFLTV, reading in part: "From the bottom of my heart, I thank South Florida for 19 years of support and viewership."

Craig was featured on the station's 11 a.m. newscast, which is being premempted today by Wimbledon, so it seems she won't be getting any sort of goodbye show.

WTVJ lately has been shedding talent. Longtime anchor Tony Segreto retired earlier this year. His replacement, Joel Connable, was fired under shady circumstances. Weatherman Paul Deano left last month, and political reporter Nick Bogert will be leaving this fall.

At this rate, NBC6 might have its news anchored by a couple of hand puppets and Tisha Lewis.
