Last week a Michaels arts and crafts store in Kendall mysteriously caught fire. Authorities say three separate fires were set with an unknown flammable substance around the store. Police don't have a suspect just yet, but would like to talk to this unidentified woman seen in security footage pushing a stroller through the store right before the fires were lit.
The woman is seen pushing the stroller into the store just moments before the fires began. She's then seen hurrying out before anyone else. Police say the woman has dark hair, is somewhere in her mid-20s to early 30s, and is between 5'5" and 5'8".
Odder still is that police aren't sure whether the stroller contained a baby.
"We know that she was potentially near the area where the fires were set, that there were three different fires in the same immediate area, and she was one of the first people to leave the store," Det. Javier Baez told CBSMiami.
No one was injured in the fire, but it caused $50,000 worth of damage. The Michaels remains closed, which surely must be a blow to the residents of Kendall. What else is there to do there, really?
