Republican Congressmen Mario and Lincoln Diaz-Balart seem dead set against voting for Washington Democrat's proposed $825 billion stimulus plan, even as the popular Republican Governor Charlie Crist is lobbying for the plan.
In the first sign that the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committe may be looking to try and oust the Diaz-Balarts once again in 2010, the group is airing radio commercials locally blasting their votes against the bill. The ads are targeting the brothers and 26 other Republican Congressmen the group are looking to potentially target in the midterm elections.
Though, in a reversal of previous votes the Diaz-Balarts did bend and voted for another Democratic bill expanding SCHIP.
