Charlie Crist may be running on a "man of the people" platform, but that hasn't stopped him from moving to Florida's most expensive and exclusive zip code. Crist and his wife Carol Rome are apparently spending so much time in South Florida that they're now renting a condo on ritzy Fisher Island.
Rome had previously owned a condo on the island but sold it for $3 million in 2011.

Dubbed by Forbes magazine as America's "Millionaire Capital" in 2011, Fisher Island is consistently one of the most expensive zip codes in the entire country.
Crist himself has never owned property and has spent most of his adult life renting in a downtown St. Petersburg condo building. Though, since marrying Rome he upgraded from a one bedroom in the tower to a two bedroom a few floors up. Crist tells The Buzz that the couple rents that condo and is now splitting time between the two cities.
While the ritzy abode may put a bit of a crinkle in Crist's "People's Governor" image, it has nothing on Gov. Rick Scott's $9.2 million beachfront mansion over in Naples.
