Because the world of adult entertainment is eminently classy, a pornography company has decided to capitalize on a domestic violence case for its own publicity purposes by offering Chad Johnson $100,000 to star in porn.
Before Johnson was arrested this weekend and subsequently cut from the Miami Dolphins, he did tell the media that he'd pursue a career in porn if he football career fell through.
Here's the open letter that Corey Price of some website we don't even want to name sent to Johnson:
Dear Mr. Johnson,Yeah, Price, we're not really sure if this is a case of Johnson's "bad luck" or "misfortune." Johnson allegedly head-butted his wife and left a three-inch laceration on her face. Luck has nothing to do with it, and the misfortune certainly isn't Johnson's.
I hope this letter finds you well. First off, we would like to applaud you on the name change - although it's not the one we initially had in mind as you might well remember.
Allow me to get down to the real reason I am reaching out to you on behalf of our company, [some website] (the premier destination for online adult entertainment). Your recent misfortunes have caught our eye, and while we regret to learn about the hard luck that's come your way, we would once again like to lend you a helping hand in your time of need.
In short, we are extending an offer to you and your beautiful wife Evelyn to create a "makeup" sex video exclusively for use on our site. As proof of your participation in the video, we would simply need you to film an introductory scene in which you and your wife state your names and intents for the camera. Once again, we believe that this partnership would truly be beneficial for both parties.
In return for your willingness to cooperate, we will gladly compensate you to the tune of $100,000.
Again, we truly appreciate your consideration of our offer and look forward to the possibility of working together soon.

Johnson had joked with the media earlier this month that if he was cut form the team, he'd do porn.
"I'm always looking to a second job," he said. "Thinking about going into porn. It's not funny. I got to earn a living. I'm being serious. I mean, that's what I would do."
Lozada herself released a statement earlier today in which she said, "Domestic violence is not OK, and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well."
Offering a victim of domestic abuse an opportunity to appear in porn with her accused attacker is really twisted.
