Well, Naked Politics reports another young Cuban American is actually being discussed as a potential Lt. Gov. Candidate for the Republicans: Rep. Anitere Flores.

Only 32 years old, she represents a vertical swath of a district that which reaches parts of Sweetwater all the way down to Kendall. She tends to be more conservative, and Naked Politics makes an apt Sarah Palin comparison.

With the tickets of both parties shaping up to be void of much of a Hispanic presence, we wouldn't be surprised if either or both parties picks a latina or latino for the Lt. Gov role.
