False doctor Tony Bosch, who beat the system in Florida after supplying more than a dozen top athletes with anti-aging drugs, spoke with 60 Minutes Sunday.
In a series of story that more than confirmed groundbreaking Miami New Times stories about Biogenesis, Bosch's Coral Gables clinic, the son of Coral Gables doctor Pedro Publio Bosch said Yankee great Alex Rodriguez paid him $12,000 per month in cash for anti-aging drugs and had offered money and a trip out of the country to avoid the Major League Baseball probe.

The interview with Bosch, his first, was stunning. It came just a day after an arbitrator had tossed A-Rod from baseball for all of next year. That decision will cost the ballplayer more than $20 million.
Looking clean-cut and tan, Bosch said not only that he had injected Rodriguez because the Yankee is afraid of needles, but also that A-Rod chewed testosterone just minutes before games in such small bits that they wouldn't show if he were tested.
He would put one of these troches in his mouth probably about ten, 15 minutes before game time or as soon as he went into the field. A player could take it right before game time. And by the time they get back into a locker room after the game and there was any possibility of testing, they would... test negative. They would test clean.
He also said the drug use was brazen. At one point, Bosch told interviewer Scott Pelley, he drew blood from Rodriguez in the restroom of a Miami club at 8 p.m.
Bosch: "So we ended up drawing the blood in the bathroom of this one restaurant-slash-bar-slash-club in the bathroom stall at 8 p.m."Pelley: "With the crowd there?"
Bosch: "With the crowd right there."
Moreover, Bosch said A-Rod -- one of the greatest hitters in baseball history and probably the best to come from a Miami high school -- knew the drugs were illegal and had asked for whatever cocktail another over-the-hill great hitter, Manny Ramirez, was using. "The first words out of his mouth were, 'You know, what did Manny Ramirez take in 2008 and 2009? What were you giving him? What were you giving Manny Ramirez?"
Rob Manfred, the tough MLB VP who led the investigation, denied reports the league had paid Bosch $5 million to cooperate.
