In 1989, Uncle Luke and 2 Live Crew launched a rap revolution with the release of their unrepentantly filthy slab of Miami booty bass, As Nasty As They Wanna Be.

It set millions of asses a-quakin'. And it blasted that hard-core 305 party vibe 'round the world. But it terrified the American Family Association, Florida politicos, and other social conservatives, all of whom got Luke and the Crew slapped with an obscenity ruling and even arrested.

They fought for their right to freedom of speech. They took the dispute to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. And they won.

Two years later, Luke and 2 Live Crew broke up. And they haven't shared the stage since '91. But now the greatest Miami booty bass band ever is back for "one night only."
