Will R. Kelly Ever Sing Again? The R&B Creeper Undergoes Serious Throat Surgery

The Guadian reports that R&B creeper R Kelly is laid up "indefinitely" as he recovers from emergency throat surgery.



The singer -- whose innumerable hits include "I Believe I Can Fly," "Ignition (Remix)," and "I'm A Flirt (Remix)" -- had recently been complaining about his sore throat on Twitter after a month of inactivity.



On Tuesday, he was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital when a throat specialist at a Chicago clinic discovered an abcess on one of his tonsils.


Little did the singer know that not only was his throat not coming back any time soon (at least without surgery), but it straight up might not come back at all. Despite this grim possibility, R Kelly clearly believes in the power of positive thinking, exemplified by the following tweet from yesterday:
