I'm a little late to game on this, but last month ANR released a new music video for its track "The Endless Field of Mercury," a very bold number that starts out slow but turn into sort of call-to-action after about a minute. Personally, I've always been sort of "meh" about ANR, but this track really shows that the band has its sight on being more ambitious while still being melodic, which has me all sorts of excited to see what they can do on the next full-length.
But about the video: it takes place at a '60s era beauty pageant, complete with dream filter effects for a bit of surrealism. The high points in the song match with each girl's reaction as her name is called.
If you want the track, ANR has been kind enough to make it available as a free download at anrmiami.com.
