Unzip that Ultra-approved clear plastic backpack. Count out a few hundred party bucks. And start the uhntz-uhntz-ing countdown. In just six days, it’s gonna be time to buy more Ultra Music Festival tix.
Ultra 2016’s opening limited-ticket sale begins at 1 p.m. on May 4, as the fest continues its recent price slashing with three early-bird offers.
In 2015, after years and years of raver complaints regarding the ever-rising cost of attending Ultra, the festival, "for the first time in its history, and as a thank you to its loyal legion of fans... reduc[ed] the price of general-admission tickets,” selling passes for $299.95 to $449.95.
For Ultra 2016, though, organizers are giving party people even better deals. The limited-ticket, early-bird sale will be conducted in three stages — Tiers 1, 2, and 3 — as prices rise from $249.95 to $299.95 and then $324.95. Of course, these bargain rates are “subject to availability and [do] not include service charges, state taxes, and fees.”
As the fest also points out, “Tier 1 and 2 early-bird tickets are only available to those who have registered in advance” while “Tier 3 tickets are available to everyone.”
