Boca Raton is home to a brand new music store and recording studio called The Garage. Robert Munser and his brother-in-law Bobby Hatton bought the store with the intention of just fixing it up a bit and selling a few instruments and accessories, but things quickly got more complicated.

Owner Robert Munser tells Crossfade, "Every time we fixed something or brought in something shiny and new, we found something else we wanted to improve on. It just all blossomed from there."

What sprang from their inspiration was a full 32 channel recording studio and classroom space where they'll be teaching bass, guitar, drums, keyboards, and vocals. With the way their business has grown already, it's not a stretch to think brass, woodwinds, and didgeridoo lessons will be offered in the near future.

The Garage, who is also sponsoring the Amplitude Academy of Musical Arts MasterMind awards, is located at 23048 Sandalfoot Plaza Drive. Call 561-869-0191 or visit the website, which is currently under construction, for more information.
