Come Friday the 13th, freaky shit happens -- party animals turn into blood-sucking vampires, loonies go on the loose and howl at the moon, and people drive around with skulls on their dashboard (or maybe your mind just plays tricks on you.)

At least it's Friday which means you have cheap parties overflowing with booze and music to look forward to.

The Holidays are a time for beer, rock tunes, and good deeds, much like the holiday shenanigans that go down at the Road's annual winter music fest. Drink up on $2 beer for 102 minutes starting at 6 p.m. and help the Brown Bag Lunch Gang feed and clothe the needy. Party for a cause with live music from 25 bands, dominoes, poker, vendors, and a $100 Santa costume contest. It's like the gift that keeps on giving.
