It's the first long weekend of the year, a three-day celebration of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. King would've been 83 years old if he hadn't been gunned down in Memphis, Tennessee, by James Earl Ray, an evil son-of-a-bitch who hated social justice and equality. Thankfully, however, equal rights prevailed.

Like we do each week, we've compiled a list of the ten best music-related parties 'round South Florida under $10. All of them have two things in common: frugality and equality. Enjoy, neighbors.
