Higher, higher, higher.

As Art Basel Miami Beach week approaches, the enviable aesthetic experiences on offer just pile up, up, up.

And today's thrilling #ABMB announcement... The addition of English electronic DJ, musician, and producer SBTRKT to III Points and YoungArts' already impressive Basel concert lineup.

"We've been trying to book him since 2011," says III Points' David Sinopoli. "But we wanted the live set, not the DJ set. We were dead set on hearing his tracks properly performed, as opposed to hearing him spin."

A playfully mysterious figure in a modern ceremonial mask who'd "rather not talk about myself as a person, and let the music speak for itself," SBTRKT (born Aaron Jerome in London) is an exacting electronic experimentalist whose sonic realm of influence is just as vast and eclectic as his roster of collaborators, from 18-year-old Atlanta songwriter Raury to Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig, A$AP Ferg, Jessie Ware, Sampha, and Warpaint's Emily Kokal.

As III Points' Sinopoli says: "SBTRKT's musical range makes him a fascinating artist. His compositions are all incredibly unique."

Last month, SBTRKT finally released his much-anticipated sophomore studio slab, Wonder Where We Land. So Basel-goers will likely be among the first fans to witness the full WWWL tracklist rendered live via digital and analog drums, synths, electronics, effects, keys, and the pre-recorded vocals of the producer's many famous, talented friends.

It promises to be the perfect compliment to III Points and YoungArts' other Basel bookings: James Blake, FKA Twigs, and Clams Casino.

"The focus is on an artistic international sound, as Basel pulls from all parts of the globe, but with a specific focus on bringing first-time performances to the Miami music scene," Sinopoli explains.

"Each of these artists have incredible artistic integrity and are committed to putting on true standout moments inside of this international art fair."

As SBTRKT and his buddy Raury would say: "Got this feeling going higher."
