It's a classic rock theme vacation of titanic proportions. And fittingly enough, it's going down on a cruise ship.

The Rock Legends Cruise II is a four-night celebration of 1970s rock 'n' roll with the likes of Foreigner, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, Molly Hatchet, and Foghat that'll be departing from Port Everglades on Thursday, January 10, 2013.

In all, 25 "rock legends" will play "two or three shows" in "three easily accessible performance venues."

Certainly, one of the varied musical highlights will be Randy Bachman and Fred Turner's set. These two Canadian rock legends reunited in 2010 and released Bachman & Turner, their self-titled debut as a duo. And now they're touring the high seas.

Rock Legends Cruise 2013 Lineup

"Beyond the performances throughout the [cruise], artists will collaborate musically, schedule meet-and-greets, and relax alongside fans throughout the four-day excursion," so says the press release.

And of course, all-you-can-eat buffets, 24-hour room service, shuffleboard, and the lingering threat of a Norwalk virus outbreak will round out your cruise experience.

At about $1,000 per person for a 150-square-foot interior stateroom, it'd be ludicrous to pass up the opportunity to catch Creedence Clearwater Revisited and Blue Oyster Cult on the same bill.

More cowbell!
