Rick Ross is a fucking boss. But y'all already knew.
What you may not know, however, is that the Maybach Music MC outsold some of the music industry's biggest names to claim the top spot on the Billboard 200 and secure his fourth number one debut, God Forgives, I Don't.
"It's official," Rozay tweeted last night. "[God Forgives, I Don't] no.1 Album in the Country selling 225,400 in its 1st week!"
To put it in perspective, Rick Ross sold about 85,000 more copies of God Forgives, I Don't than the next four best-selling artists combined. Check out which acts he beat out to earn the top spot.
Artist: Bee Gees
Album: Number Ones
Units Sold: 32,000
Sure a 99-cent Amazon price tag helped the Bee Gees' record sales this week. But more than 193,000 people would rather listen to "Diced Pineapples" and "3 Kings" than"How Deep is Your Love" for the billionth fucking time.
Artist: One Direction
Album: Up All Night
Units Sold: 34,000
One Direction's a cash cow. But they're not making that Maybach money. Despite climbing up the charts this week, the group moved six times less weight (i.e. records) than Rozay.
Artist: Justin Bieber
Album: Believe
Units Sold: 35,000
Young homie can get away with poking fun at Prince William's balding head. But he wouldn't pull that shit around the Bawse.
Artist: Zac Brown Band
Album: Uncaged
Units Sold: 39,000
We're assuming that when he got word about God Forgives, I Don't beating out Zac Brown Band's Uncaged, Rozay took a long drag from his blunt before coughing, "Who's Zac Brown?"
Congratulations, Bawse.
