To all y'all haters who constantly bitch about Rick Ross being a fake-ass, wannabe thug rapper who nobody gives no shits 'bout ...

There is now some (sorta) scientific proof that the MMG honcho is Florida's fave musical artist, thanks to MusicMachinery.com, "the blog about the interface of music and technology written by Paul Lamere."

In his most recent post, Lamere breaks down music tastes of fans in all 50 states, from New York to Cali to the FLA.

"For this study, I sampled the listening preferences of about a quarter million listeners that have a zip code associated with their account," the MusicMachinery.com number cruncher explains.

With data pulled from popular music APIs (application programming interfaces) and streaming services, like YouTube, Spotify, and Amazon, among many others, he attempted to identify every state's "distinctive artist."

"I aggregated these listeners into regions (state, regional and all-US)," he writes. And then by comparing the popularity of a musician between different parts of the country, he arrived at "the artists that define the taste" for each and every state in the Union.

In FLA's case, we love Ricky Rozay. And yes, the feeling is mutual. Just look at that tattoo of the Sunshine State on the Bawse's motherfuckin' forehead.
