A while back, we talked to Otto Von Schirach about his recent collaboration with German DJ-producer duo Modeselektor.

He called the collabo track a "banger," which is a spot-on description of the glitchy, pulsating beat that dominates "Evil Twin," a song off 2011's Monkeytown.

In its dark and twisted sort of way, "Twin" is pure techno. It's the kind of cut that crushes entire crowds at Winter Music Conference or the Electric Pickle.

And while Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary's production are worthy of praise, Otto's ominous vocals really propel the track to the absolute limit of its particular chaotic trajectory.

"One of the reasons we work a lot together is because Gernot and

Sebastian like the way I record my vocals, so it makes it easier

for them if I'm not in Berlin," Otto told Crossfade back in September.

This month, the track finally gets a promotional push with a music video featuring a pair of monkeys fighting through OS X windows and an Otto cameo via iChat.
