Step out of your dark cubicle for lunch and kick off your weekend at Bardot's Midday Dance Party. Get groovy with sick tunes from Brenmar and free Perrier cocktails, snag an old-school bagged lunch on your way back to the office, and watch the rest of the day fly by as quickly as your 60-minute dance-off.

Yoga at Trade. Instructed by Joey Cardona of Equinox in the main room with music by Ricardo. Presented by Link Miami Rebels. Friday, August 28, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Trade, 1439 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-531-6666; trademia.com. Admission is free.

Music and yoga go together like house beats and nightclubs. That's why the one of the best underground party halls in the Magic City is putting a mediative twist on uhntz-uhntz with Yoga at Trade. As the Facebook invite suggests, "release your endorphins as resident DJ Ricardo provides the soothing soundscape behind the yoga instruction of Equinox's Joey Cardona in the main room." But don't worry about suiting up for this club rager — bare feet and yoga mats will suffice.

Grey 8s. With Artime and Santiago Caballero. Friday, August 28, 10 p.m. Bardot, 3456 N. Miami Ave., Miami; 305-576-7750; bardotmiami.com. Ages 21 and up.

How do you go about naming your band? By looking up to your favorite rockers for inspiration, of course. At least that's how it went down for the Grey 8s. "[Drummer] Andres [Bedoya] and I were thinking of two piece bands we liked. The most obvious ones were the White Stripes and the Black Keys, so we went in the middle," Danny Burns, the band's singer, guitarist, and songwriter explained to New Times earlier this year. And what about the 8? "We liked the infinity symbol, so we flipped it on its side."

All Germs! "Jet Boy Jet Girl." With Armageddon Man, Party Flag, Bitch Talk, Smut, Menudo Death Squad, Mouth Wash, DJ Darth Brooks, and Bruno. Sponsored by Idle Hands, Iron Forge Press, and No Work Records. Friday, August 28, 9 p.m. Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE 2nd Ave., Miami; 305-757-1807; churchillspub.com. Admission costs $5. Ages 18 and up.

Great things happen when people of all germs unite. And at Churchill's, this ideology is what's bringing germs (in the form of music junkies) from across SoFla to Little Haiti for "a night of creative empowerment" at the All Germs! "Jet Boy Jet Girl" bash. Leave your sanitizer at home and rock out with Armageddon Man, Party Flag, Bitch Talk, and the rest of the anti-germaphobes at 5501 NE 2nd Avenue.

Last Days of Miami Music Club. With Möthersky, the Siamese Pearl, Glass Arcade, Clavilux, and Moniker Moniker. Friday, August 28, 9 p.m. Miami Music Club, 91 NE 40th St., Miami; 305-299-5226; facebook.com/miamimusicclub. Admission costs $3.

After three months of "interesting, creative things," the Miami Music Club's short time is coming to an end. But the creative space — which was named the best underground club of 2015 by yours truly — is leaving the Design District with a bang. So celebrate the last days of MMC with Möthersky, the Siamese Pearl, and all the crazy kids of the city.

Batuke Samba Funk. Presented by Jazz at MOCA. Friday, August 28, 8 to 9:15 p.m. MOCA, 770 NE 125th St., North Miami; 305-893-6211; mocanomi.org. Admission is free.

Bitch Fit. With Michelle Leshem, Laura of Miami, Andie Sweet Swirl, and Veronica Gessa. Hosted by Simonett Pereira. Saturday, August 29, 10 p.m. Libertine, 40 NE 11th St., Miami; 305-363-2120; libertinemiami.com. Admission is free. Ages 21 and up.

"A heavy dose of girl power" and "cool chicks on the decks" — that's the kind of night you're in for when the musical ladies of the 305 take over Libertine for Bitch Fit, the monthly female takeover of downtown Miami's after-hours lounge.

"Rock-A-Villain" Rock Show. With Ornimental, Loaded Guns, Falseta, Deadman's Gambit, Hang 'em High, Naked Vengeance, and others. Presented by the Medusa Agency. Saturday, August 29, 8 p.m. Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE 2nd Ave., Miami; 305-757-1807; churchillspub.com. Admission costs $10 with a villain costume. Ages 18 and up.

Sometimes being a villain (or pretending to look like one) can get you places, like into the "Rock-A-Villain" Rock Show. Come dressed as the Joker, Poison Ivy, or even Brainiac and watch Ornimental, Loaded Guns, Falseta, and all the bad guys of hardcore tear up the stage at Churchill's for only $10.

At the Double Stubble Sunday T-Dance, "there's no need to keep your sexuality subtle." Embrace your fierce, beastly beauty at Gramps with Chicago house and disco dance tunes from DJ Hottpants, Mystic Bill, and Terrance Tabeau.

Cheap Miami Sundays. With FTMF, Olde Time Religion, Black Cousins, and Taxi. Sunday, August 30, 10 p.m. Kill Your Idol, 222 Española Way, Miami Beach; 305-534-1009; facebook.com/killyouridolmiami.com. Admission is free. Ages 21 and up.

Kiss the weekend goodbye with and get ready for a night of rock 'n' roll and debauchery with FTMF, Olde Time Religion, and the Cheap Miami Records crew. It's music so loud you'll almost forget about the impending hurricane threatening our very existence.
