Sure, Lil Wayne may be seeking a divorce from his daddy, Birdman, who runs the Cash Money record label to which Weezy's been signed since he was 9 years old.
But just because he ain't no longer "Stuntin' Like His Daddy"... That doesn't doesn't mean the "Lollipop" rapper's gonna quit repping his Young Money label, the imprint on Cash Money that he founded in 2005.
So far, YM has produced superstars Drake and Nicky Minaj. (And yeah, shamefully consorted with Paris Hilton too.) But Wayne's latest signee... Miami's Stephanie Acevedo.

Lately, Weezy has been publicly berating Birdman and Cash Money. His reason: Feeling trapped by his longtime label.
The rapper, now 32, plans to retire from releasing full-length solo albums after he finally drops Tha Carter V. It's something that he's proclaimed for years.
But it seems his (non-biological) daddy, or "Baby" as he's also known, would prefer to keep his marquee artist under contract by leaving this final record in the vault.

In a recent Twitter tirade, Lil Wayne wrote: "To all my fans, I want you to know that my album won't and hasn't been released bekuz Baby and Cash Money Records refuse to release it. This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation.
"I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy. I am a prisoner and so is my creativity. Again, I am truly sorry and I don't blame ya if ya fed up with waiting for me and this album. But thank you."
However, with the Acevedo signing and the premiere of her debut music video, a cover of Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love," it seems that Wayne isn't planning on abandoning Young Money, even if he wants off the Cash Money team.
Over the last few months, Acevedo has been hyping her connection to Young Money, Lil Wayne, and label president Mack Maine via Instagram.
She has posted shots of her, Weezy, and Mack with captions like "his rising star #myboss #lilwayne" and "Young Money fam... my brother @mackmaineymcmb."
However, the record deal wasn't actually made official till Wayne, Maine, and YM announced "newly signed Young Money artist Stephanie Acevedo releases a remix to Leona Lewis' hit record 'Bleeding Love'" this week.
A model and ring girl, as well as a singer, Acevedo's vocal abilities seem decent. And the Cuban-Puerto Rican is blessed with bounteousness of bosom and butt.
But is she the next Nicki Minaj? Or the new Paris Hilton?
