Ohio's own Machine Gun Kelly is living the dream. Signed by Diddy in 2011, the rapper eventually landed on the cover of XXL magazine. His track "Invincible," as pointed out by New Times last year, was even used as a theme song by the NFL and the WWE. Now, the Cleveland comeback kid is getting ready to take his talents to Miami for the second time.

Radio Bemba Latin Rock/Punk Invasion. With Atajos, Los Inmigrantes, the Rockadictos, Aura Distorsionada, and Uma Galera. Thursday, August 27, 8:30 p.m. Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE 2nd Ave, Miami; 305-757-1807; churchillspub.com. Admission costs $5.

Get ready for a night of Latin tuneage in Little Haiti with Los Inmigrantes, Atajos, Uma Galera, and some of the hardest rockers of the 305 at Churchill's Radio Bemba Latin Rock/Punk Invasion. Organized by Arnie C. of Los Inmigrantes, the singer and guitarist hopes to "provide Spanish language music that he thinks listeners can enjoy, whether or not they understand the lyrics."

Ever since joining Major Lazer, Miami's Walshy Fire, as broken down by New Times earlier this year, "has been circling the globe, dropping bass, and transforming international party people into wild, explosive, and twerk-elated versions of themselves." But this week the Carol City native will be turnin' up the bass in the 954 for #LetEmKnow: The Concert with fellow riddim' selectah, Mr. Vegas.

"Enjoy the journey" to Bro Co and savor the chill vibes of the laid-back surfing troubadour and Rocket Power character come to life, Donavon Frankenreiter at Culture Room. As a guy who "learned how to play music through bringing [his] guitar on all [his] surf travels," chances are you'll be inspired to pack your bags, move to Hawaii, and become a professional surfing six-stringer yourself. Trust us, Donavon Frankenreiter is a lot easier to listen to than it is to spell.

Seven Lions. Summer of the Occult Tour. Presented by Poplife, Electric Love, and Culture Productions. Saturday, August 29, 11 p.m. Grand Central, 697 N. Miami Ave., Miami; 305-377-2277; grandcentralmiami.com. Tickets cost $20 to $25 plus fees via epoplife.com. Ages 18 and up.
