A new week has begun, and with it, a brand new slab of concerts to check out. Now, as fellow music junkies, we know that picking out which shows you're actually going to attend can be a challenge. That's why we're narrowing it down to the best of the best of them.

So grab your concert buddies and check out this week's five best gigs, from Minus the Bear at Culture Room to DJ Craze at Rec Room to the Go Hard Tour at Bayfront Park.


Minus the Bear. With Into It. Over It. Tuesday, May 12, 7:30 p.m. Culture Room, 3045 N. Federal Hgwy., Fort Lauderdale; 954-564-1074; cultureroom.net. Tickets cost $25 plus fees via ticketmaster.com. Dance with all your Lost Loves till the "Pachuca Sunrise" as Seattle's Minus the Bear keeps things fresh at Culture Room.

Twinki. With Sandratz. Presented by Cheap Miami Records. Thursday, May 14, 10 p.m. Kill Your Idol, 222 Española Way, Miami Beach; 305-534-1009; facebook.com/killyouridolmiami.com. Admission is free. Ages 21 and up. Make that "Bubble Booty POP" as Jacksonville's drag rapper, Twinki brings her “sexxxcore, drag raunch” to Kill Your Idol.


Ciara's Jackie Tour. Friday, May 15, 7:30 p.m. The Fillmore Miami Beach, 1700 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-673-7300; fillmoremb.com. Tickets cost $40 to $155 plus fees via livenation.com. All ages. From Goodies to motherhood, Ciara's come a long way since her 2004 debut. This week, Princess Harris will be showing off her White House-worthy talent as she takes over the Fillmore as part of her Jackie Tour.


DJ Craze's Baby Gurl Release Party. Friday, May 15, 11 p.m. Rec Room, 1690 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-673-0199; galehotel.com/nightlife. Admission is free. Ages 21 and up.
