Oh. My. God.
The Orange Bowl Committee just announced via press release that Luke Bryan is going to headline the Bud Light Championship Game Day Fan Zone outside of Sun Life Stadium before the BCS National Championship Game!
We did it, Miami. The 348-member non-profit organization heard our cry for pop country and slapped us with the American Music Awards' Favorite Male Country Artist.
So get ready for a plethora of Tailgates and Tanlines, and country girls who "shake it for the young bucks sittin' in the honky-tonks." The Fighting Irish are coming to town, and the Big Mango's hosting a hoedown.

Notre Dame has already secured a spot in the 2013 Discover BSC National Championship. They'll face-off against the winner of this weekend's SEC championship game, Alabama or Georgia.
Bryan's hoping it'll be the latter.
"I'm a big [University of] Georgia Bulldogs fan," the singer recently said in an interview with Pennsylvania's FlipSide. "We get a little crazy. When Georgia plays, I'm in front of the TV. Every game is a big game."
None, however, will be as big as the 2013 National Championship.
Let's just keep our fingers crossed that the Bulldogs shit all over Nick Saban's Crimson Tide. If not for Bryan, for us. We've got far too much money riding on Saturday's game.
