Doo-Wop, one of the most innocent sounding and feel good form of music , has been all but completely forgotten. Johnny Maestro & The Brooklyn Bridge and The Mystics are doing their best to keep the uniquely American music alive when they perform at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on April 25. Johnny Maestro, former Crests frontman, is best known for singing "Sixteen Candles" and The Mystics for "Hushabye". For $25, you can see both these acts in the beautiful pavilion at the casino. The show starts at 2 p.m., leaving plenty of time to check out the casino and shake off that wholesomeness.
