It's been a mere 13 hours and 30 minutes since the latest edition of III Points, Miami's music, art, and tech fest, wrapped up.
And yet... it's already time to start planning the next arty party. After all, there's just seven weeks and a few days till Basel madness seizes SoBe, Wynwood, the Design District, and every other hip hood in the 305.
Luckily, the III Points crew and the fine folks over at YoungArts aren't about to waste even a minute. Thus, the announcement of an impressive doubleheader during Basel week, starring English acts James Blake and FKA Twigs.

Just 26 years old, Blake is a deeply cerebral yet innately pop-minded electronic producer who's already won the United Kingdom and Ireland's most prestigious music award, the Mercury Prize, for his acclaimed sophomore album, Overgrown.
As for Twigs, she's in the running for this year's Mercury Prize with LP1, her full-length debut and most recent slab of future R&B dance-pop, following early four-song, extended-play efforts EP1 and EP2.
During Basel week, Blake and Twigs will be playing on consecutive nights (Thursday, December 4, and Friday, December 5) at the National YoungArts Campus.
And together, they definitely rank among III Points' most significant booking coups -- on par with securing DFA Records and LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy, Swedish indie-pop goddess Lykke Li, and electronic hip-hop experimentalist Flying Lotus for its burgeoning annual fest.
"We have been after James for close to three years now, and it means a lot to be able to bring him to Miami for the first time," III Points' David Sinopoli tells Crossfade.
Of course, he's just as stoked for the rapidly rising FKA Twigs, who's also a member of the Young Turks camp, which has proven to be so pivotal in the development of the III Points Festival.
"I have no clue where her ceiling is. Every time I think I understand what Twigs is about, she flips it on me," Sinopoli enthuses. "Since we have been working with Young Turks, I have seen this evolution of her career, and I'm just grateful to bring it to the Art Basel stage this year."
