There’s no better place to pop your cherry than Miami, and Skrillex is about to find out. The dubstep dynamo is set to make his Life in Color debut as one-half of the upcoming festival’s first officially announced headliner; Jack Ü.

The dream-team duo pits Skrilly against Florida’s own Diplo. As if the two weren’t already cornering the gig market hard enough as solo DJs, together, they’ve become totally unstoppable.

Thanks in large part to a huge hit single in collaboration with Justin Bieber (you know, the biggest pop star on the planet), these guys have been hitting festival stages all over the world, popping up as surprise guests, and just basically being everywhere all at once, all the time.

If you didn’t catch Jack Ü in action as part of Skrillo’s close out Ultra performance, or up in Fort Lauderdale at the recent Mad Decent Block Party, fear not. Life in Color just announced Jack Ü as its first headliner for its festival at Sun Life Stadium in January of 2016.

Look, maybe you’ve even seen Jack Ü before, but have you ever seen Jack Ü while covered in ooey-gooey water-based paints? No, you haven’t, because such a thing has in fact never happened before, and that’s kind of neat.

Life in Color Festival with Jack Ü and more to be announced. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Sun Life Stadium, 347 Don Shula Dr., Miami Gardens. Ages 16 and over. The party starts at 1 p.m., and tickets cost $79.99 to $119.99 plus fees via ticketfly.com. Visit lifeincolor.com.
