“Let's get weird,” as they say.

Every year during the last week of March, our already party-obsessed city becomes the all-day, all-night staging area for a throbbing, million-person orgy of neon-swaddled raver chicks, sweaty frat bros, black-clad hipster dance aficionados, and progressive house heads who look like they just stepped out of the office, among so many other kinds of clubbers, ravers, and ogling observers.

Yes, it's almost Ultra Music Festival, Winter Music Conference, and Miami Music Week again. The megaclubs have reupped their kryo and hard liquor supplies. The South Beach hotels are prepping their pool cleaning crews. And the monumental, billion-watt Ultra logo is being hoisted high above downtown Miami.
