"My first loyalty has always been to Fleetwood Mac," Nicks added in the Times interview. "And it will always be."

The singer released her seventh solo studio record, In Your Dreams, in 2011, and co-headlined the Heart and Soul tour with Rod Stewart this past summer. But Fleetwood Mac hasn't toured together since 2009.

After that last Fleetwood tour, the Times reports, Nicks held a band meeting to announced she'd be taking a sabbatical to work on solo music.

"I sat everybody down and said, 'Listen, please understand. I'm never going to break this band up. Never. I'm never going to leave you. I'm just going to go away for under a year' to focus on [In Your Dreams]."

Similarly, Lindsey Buckingham released his sixth solo studio record, Dees We Sow, in 2011. He also toured and released two live albums, Songs From the Small Machine and One Man Show, in 2011 and 2012, respectively.

You can always "Go Your Own Way" as a member of the Fleetwood Mac family. So long as you "Don't Stop" thinking about tomorrow. Or 2013.
