Miami New Times' Best of the Best Concert. With Baez, Day Music Died, Xela Zaid, Unity Rise, Diego & Gabriel of Jacuzzi Boys DJ Set, and others. Thursday, July 18, 8 p.m., at Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE 2nd Ave., Miami; 305-757-1807; churchillspub.com. Free. What do you get when you combine only the best named local acts under one roof? An orgasmic explosion of music.

You may have no clue what the hell she's saying, but the soft, lyrical vibe of Brazil's two-time Latin Grammy award nominee is enough to make you wanna sing "Shimbalaiê."

Star Slinger will keep you up 'till the "Mornin'" with his retro beats and funky sound. Dance on, friends.
