Musical Missionary's last Dance for a Cause party in August managed to raise a whopping $950 in one night, which were donated to SoBe Institute of the Arts. The lucky recipient of these scholarship funds is a little 10-year-old named Aurora, whose hard-working single mother couldn't afford paying for the flute lessons she can now enjoy at the Institute, thanks to all of those who supported the cause that night. Dance for a Cause is now back for its second installment at the Electric Pickle on Friday night, featuring NYC/Berlin-based DJ Bill Patrick, along with locals Alejandro Sab and Joaquin.

Bill Patrick has been making waves in the international dance underground since the early 2000s when he was throwing his ROBOTS techno parties in NYC and hosting a weekly East Village Radio show, featuring the likes of Sven Väth, Francois K, Tiefschwarz, and Matthew Dear. Having since relocated to Berlin to focus on production work when he's not touring the globe, Patrick continues to hijack dancefloors worldwide with his distinctly funked-up and soulful hybrid of house and techno. Come down to the Pickle on Friday night and enjoy a healthy serving of deep techy grooves while supporting Musical Missionary's ongoing charitable efforts.

Dance for a Cause with Bill Patrick at Electric Pickle, Friday, October 16, 10 p.m.-5 a.m. 2826 N Miami Ave., Miami. Tickets $10 before midnight and $20 after. All proceeds to benefit SoBe Institute of the Arts.
