Col. Bruce Hampton (Retired) and his current band, Quark Alliance, is bringing a whole new kind of jam/funk/blues/avant garde to Revolution Live on August 21.

Col. Hampton has been pounding out the tunes since 1963, playing in bands like The Hampton Grease Band, The Late Bronze Age, and The Aquarium Rescue Unit. Each of these bands shares one thing in common: unconventional and jam/improvisational music styling. This is sure to play well with those of you planning on seeing Perpetual Groove or Porter Batiste Stoltz this weekend, or for those looking for a preview of next January's Jam Cruise (as Col. Hampton will be abord that vessel).
