Camilo Sesto was Spain's answer to artists like George Michael and Prince in Britain and the US in the '80s and '90s, which is to say a major pop icon. In fact, it might even be fair to say he was the iconic figure in Spanish pop of the era.
The singer-songwriter has dropped a score of records and then some throughout the course of his nearly 40-year career, selling over 165 million records worldwide and dominating the Latin American airwaves throughout his heyday. And though he's been away from the limelight for awhile, Sesto is back on tour once again, much to the delight of his considerable fan base. And fans in SoFla will be thrilled to know, if they don't already have their tix in hand, that he's performing at the AAA tomorrow night.
Camilo Sesto performs at American Airlines Arena on Saturday, October 17 at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $59 - 252.75.
