RIP Montae Talbert (AKA M-Bone), aged 22, and respect to his family. We are sorry for the tragic loss of the talented artist.

No matter how smooth he was, M-Bone couldn't Dougie his way out of two head shots in an Inglewood, California drive by that left him dead inside a vehicle out front of a liquor store.

The 22-year-old Cali Swag District member made famous by his group's chart-topping song "Teach Me How To Dougie" was killed at approximately 10:30 p.m. last night.

M-Bone's real name is Mante Montae Talbert. Police have not released a motive for the shooting, though it does not appear to have been a robbery.

"Teach Me How To Dougie," the Doug E. Fresh-referencing song and dance had become a pop culture sensation since it came out last year.

Here are some records of the sensation these California rappers were able to create. Here is the original song and unofficial video.
