It's no secret that Miami is the party capital of the South, but the charm of our hardcore rep comes from the diversity of our party scene.

For the uhntz-uhntz junkie who's into poppin' bottles of Hennessy, picking up European models, and pricey covers, you have the flashy streets of SoBe. For the down-to-earth music buff who's into local underground acts, there's Downtown. For the artsy, mustached, skinny jean crowd, there's Wynwood. And for those who want a mix of it all, there's Brickell.

Check out the best clubs this side of town.

5. Blue Martini

Sure, it may be part of a chain and the drinks may not be the cheapest around town, but if you're gonna party in Mary Brickell Village, Blue Martini is the spot.

Every night brings a different sort of bash, whether it be local artists, live band karaoke, Girls Night Out, or Latin music blasting from the stage right above the main bar, it's always a different kind of experience.

And with daily happy hour from 4-8 p.m. where booze is half-off, you'll drink your way 'till the night while overlooking the outside crowd from the patio.

4. Finnegan's on the River

You know you're at a legit Miami bar if you can get there by land and sea, much like the "sprawling urban oasis" of Finnegan's on the River.

Throw in some DJ beats, a game of billiards, bocce ball, a midnight dip in the pool, and a killer view of Downtown's skyscrapers illuminating the sky with blue, yellow, and purple hues, and you've got one of the best reasons to party in Brickell.

3. FIFTY at the Viceroy Hotel

There's nothing like partying fifty stories above the city, "high atop glimmering lights" on the rooftop lounge of the Viceroy.

Claiming to serve both "altitude and attitude," FIFTY is the most exclusive hotspot in Brickell where only the best dressed are allowed to party in the "semiprivate lounge at the highest outdoor pool in the city."

But once you experience the "sky high atmosphere," you'll understand FIFTY's exclusivity is what gives it that intimate feel.

2. Blackbird Ordinary

Aside from bringing fresh local talent and up-and-coming artists to the stage and being named one of the best concert venues in the nation by Complex Magazine, this hotspot is also one of the main reasons to come out and party in Brickell.

With nightly bashes including Movie Mondays, Ladies Night Tuesdays (where ladies drink free Blackbird cocktails all night), Roots Rock Wednesdays, and Recess Saturdays, Blackbird Ordinary is the place to be whether you wanna come out and dance to an eclectic mix of old-school beats, or play some drunken Jenga with your posse.

1. Tobacco Road

As Miami's oldest bar, Tobacco Road has been around long before Brickell became a party destination. From the days of prohibition to the Cocaine Cowboy era and Hurricane Andrew, the Road has seen and survived it all.

For 101 years, the bar has been serving up (and continues to serve) scandals, parties with some of the best rock and blues bands, and blurred memories thanks to their decently priced drinks and happy hours.

And unlike any other bar in the 305, almost everyone has had some sort of bizarre encounter here, which is why Tobacco Road takes the number one spot on our list.

Long live the Road!
